The medieval historic centre of Apiro holds authentic treasures: the Teatro Mestica with its nineteenth-century elegance, the ancient walls embracing the village, and the Abbey of Sant’Urbano, a Romanesque masterpiece from the year 1000 nestled in the countryside.

Frasassi Caves
